Herceg Novi is the largest town in the Bay.
It is also the most difficult to walk or drive through.
The town is situated on a very steep hill. The houses are close together and the atmosphere is almost oriental (this is the only town in the bay that was under the Ottoman rule at one point).
Most of the street are one way. Actually, there is only a couple of streets. So , be ready to walk up and down the stairs a lot.
Once you get down to the sea, to the gorgeous Pet Danica’s Promenade, you won’t miss the cars at all.
This is where everything happens.
Don’t forget to bring your bathing suit. Even in the town center, the beaches are nice and the water is clean.
If you go towards the marina, you will reach Skver, the “epicenter” of the town. Here you can find cafes with an internet connection (maybe also elsewhere, but here definitely :)).
You can also go on a boat tour. Boats leave from the main dock every couple of hours. Click here for the boat schedule.
